The petitioners are working as Salesmen on contract basis in the milk societies run by the second respondent at Guruvayoor and Thrissur respectively. They have filed this writ petition mainly for an order directing the first respondent to consider Ext.P9 representation dated 20.7.2011 wherein they have requested the first respondent to regularise them in service having regard to the fact that they have been working on contract basis for more than 10 years and are authorised for seeking appointment.
2. When the writ petition came up for admission-hearing today, Sri.George Poonthottam, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted on instructions that the second respondent will consider Ext.P9 representation and take an appropriate decision in the matter expeditiously.
In the light of the said submission, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider Ext.P9 representation and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, after affording the petitioners an opportunity of being heard W.P.(C) No.21689 of 2011 2 expeditiously and in any event within two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
