THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Mr.Shankarappa learned counsel for M/s M.T.Nanaiah Assts. Advocates for the petitioner.
Mr.Vijay Kumar A. Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 3.
2. The writ petition is admitted for hearing.
With consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally.
3. In this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent-competent authority to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner for referring the matter for investigation to the C.I.D.
4. When the matter was taken up today, learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that in case a representation is made, suitable action shall be taken on the representation if not already taken in accordance with law.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions and in the facts of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the competent authority to take appropriate action on the representation submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today if not already taken. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
