Petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. praying that in the circumstances stated in the memo of grounds filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to direct the Respondent-Police to enlarge the Petitioners/A2 on bial in Crime No. 122 of 2013 of Mangalagiri (R) Police station, Guntur District in the event of their arrest by granting anticipatory bail.
The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the Memo of Grounds filed herein, and upon hearing the arguments of Sri M. Bhaskar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of the Public Prosecutor on behalf of respondent-State, the Court made the following ORDER :-
“The petitioner is A-2. She seeks for grant of anticipatory bail. She allegedly committed offences under Section 498-A IPC. She is the mother of A1. The petitioner is 72 years old. In view of the nature of the offences alleged against her, in view of her age and in view of her sex, I consider it appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
Consequently, this Criminal Petition is allowed. The petitioner shall surrender before the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Mangalagiri, Guntur District, within two weeks from today. On such surrender, the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Mangalagiri, Guntur District shall enlarge the petitioner on bail on a personal bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties in a likesum to his satisfaction.”
