Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned AGA for respondents 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the show cause notice dated 4th November, 2019 issued under Section 3(1) of U.P. Control of Goondas Act.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that one of the case that has been cited in the notice was investigated and a final report has been submitted.
Be that as it may, on the grounds taken, though the notice cannot be quashed but it is always open to the petitioner to raise this plea while submitting response to the notice.
With the aforesaid liberty, the petition is disposed off. It is made clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the plea.
