Heard Sri W.H. Khan, Advocate assisted by Sri Pervez Husain Khan, the counsel for the petitioners and Sri H.N. Singh, Advocate assisted by Sri Sant Ram Sharma, the counsel for the Nagar Palilka, i.e., respondent no. 6 The present writ petition has been filed against the order dated 21.10.2019 passed by the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Hamirpur ostensibly exercising his powers under Section 3- AAA(2) of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947.
The petitioners have the remedy to file an appeal before the District Magistrate. In case, the petitioners file an appeal before the District Magistrate within fifteen days from today, the same shall be decided on merits by the District Magistrate within two months thereafter.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
