JUDGMENT / ORDER

Shaffique, J.
The petitioner has approached this Court complaining of harassment by the Police. The learned Government Pleader, on instruction, would submit that a crime has been registered against the petitioner's son as Crime.No.1618/14 of Attingal Police Station for offence punishable under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code. It is also submitted that the petitioner's son, who is an accused in the case, is absconding.
2. Having regard to the fact that the Police is only conducting investigation into the crime and since the whereabouts of the petitioner's son is not known, it is open for the Police to make necessary enquiries, which cannot be termed as police harassment. The petitioner is not entitled to any relief as prayed for.
The Writ Petition is dismissed.
