THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 & 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO DIRECT THE R-2 WHO BEING INVESTIGATING OFFICER TO INVESTIGATE INTO THE MATTER AND TO FILE FINAL REPORT IN RESPECT OF CRIME NO.77/2017 REGISTERED BY THE JAYANAGAR POLICE FROTHWITH [ANNEXURE-Q] & ETC.
THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks to register FIR and direct respondent No.2 to investigate the matter in Crime No.77/2017 and a direction to respondent No.3 to investigate into the matter in respect of Crime Nos.54/2017 and 60/2017 and also to provide police protection.
2. In view of the submissions made and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner that in case a representation with regard to his grievance raised in the petition is made to the competent authority, the same shall be decided by the competent authority within a period of four months from the date of receipt of such a representation. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
