Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing/commanding the respondent No. 2 to decide the Case No. T201814360303621 (Amrawati and others Vs. Nagendra and others) pending in the court of Respondent No. 2 since 2014, under Section 229-B of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, expeditiously."
It is stated that the suit under Section 229-B of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act filed by the petitioner in February 2014 has not been decided finally till date. Even issues have not been framed in the suit. It therefore necessarily follows that the parties have not been yet led their evidence.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of ten months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
