1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel.
2. By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has sought a direction to respondent No. 3 to decide his application filed under Section 24 of the U.P. Land Revenue Code, 2006 expeditiously.
3. From the perusal of the record, it indicates that the said application has been moved only on 10.09.2021 and it is noticed that the statutory period prescribed for deciding the same has not expired and this Court of the opinion that no such order for expediting can be moved at this premature stage, however, in case the proceeding is linger on after such period more than prescribed in the statute then the petitioner has the liberty to take appropriate steps for expediting the same. No interference is called for by this Court in exercise of power under Section 226 or 227 of the Constitution of India at this stage.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as premature.
