The grievance of the petitioner is that application regarding issuance of arm license dated 12.11.2018 is pending before respondent no.2 - District Magistrate, Sant Kabir Nagar and the same has not been decided so far.
Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the abovementioned application is pending and has not been decided till date, the same would be considered and decided expeditiously.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to Competent Authority to decide petitioner's application and pass appropriate reasoned order after affording opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of one year from today, provided there is no legal impediment.
