The claim of the petitioner for compensation under Mukhyamantri (Samajavdi) Kisan Evam Sarvhit Beema Yojana has since been rejected by the Oriental Insurance Company vide communication dated 09.02.2018 (Annexure 1 to the writ Petition). Petitioner has represented to the Senior Divisional Manager of the Insurance Company vide letter dated 13.03.2018 (Annexure 4 to the writ Petition).
The limited relief pressed before us is for an appropriate direction to the respondent no.l3 to take an appropriate decision on the pending request of the petitioner. It would be relevant to mention here that by the earlier communication dated 9.2.2018 the claim of the petitioner was rejected as the eligibility certificate was not furnished by the petitioner. Now alongwith the fresh representation dated 13.03.2018 the eligibility certificate has been annexed.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case we dispose of this petition with a direction to the respondent no.2 to take an appropriate decisions on the pending request of the petitioner refereed to above strictly in accordance to law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
