This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the second respondent / the Secretary, Government of Puducherry, Puducherry, to pass orders on his representation dated 16.08.2016, followed by reminder dated 08.12.2016.
2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the fourth respondent Society had sustained losses, which are mounting even today. A comparative statement of losses over the past few years as stated in the affidavit is extracted below: S.No.

In view of the above, the petitioner has sent his representation dated 16.08.2016 to the second respondent seeking appointment of a proper person with requisite qualification and experience in the field of weaving sector to turn around PONTEX, which is heading towards liquidation. But, the said representation has not been considered till date.
4. Mr.R.Syed Mustafa, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, by accepting notice, submitted that if a direction is given, pending representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits within a time frame.
5. In view of the narrow prayer made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 16.08.2016 of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
