Petitioner's application (Ext.P4) for a licence from the 2nd respondent Panchayath for conducting a stone quarry is pending consideration before the said Panchayath. It is the submission of the petitioner that despite having preferred the application, no decision is forthcoming from the Panchayath. 2. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent Panchayath to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P4 application pending before it within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment after hearing the petitioner.
Subject to the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
