This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.06.2017 for re-totalling of the following subjects namely 1. General Pathology and Microbiology-544206 and 2. Dental Materials-544208 of the petitioner (Registration.No.541416563).
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has submitted that the University does not permit either revaluation or retotalling. However, the learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that they are ready to furnish the answer sheet to the petitioner if the same is applied for in the prescribed format, available in the University.
4. In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, this Court is of the view that since, revaluation and retotalling is not permitted, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and hence this Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to apply for the photocopy of the answer papers of the subjects mentioned above and the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to furnish a copy of the same.
