JUDGMENT / ORDER

The wife, who is the respondent in H.M.O.P.No.325 of 2016 on the file of the Family Court, Madurai, is the petitioner. The said proceedings have been launched by the respondent/husband seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty before the Family Court, Madurai.
2. This petition was listed on 23.06.2017, since there was no representation on behalf of the respondent, this petition is listed today under the caption 'for orders'. Even today, there is no representation for the respondent.
3. The petitioner/wife, claiming that she is a resident of Emaneswaram, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District, seeks transfer mainly on the ground of convenience. It is also claimed that she is solely dependent on her aged mother.
4. Hence, considering the convenience of the petitioner/wife, the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.325 of 2016 are withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Madurai and transferred to the file of the Sub Court, Paramakudi. The Family Court, Madurai, is directed to despatch the papers to the file of the Sub Court, Paramakudi, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered as above. No costs. Consequently, the connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
