JUDGMENT / ORDER

The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the 1st Respondent to survey and laid boundary stone in S.No.175/1A2B to an extent of 0.4.30 acres in Patta No. 1475 at Neeravi Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2016 in accordance with law within a time frame.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property situated in Survey No.175/1A2B, with an extent of 0.4.30 Ares (10.75 cents) at Koolipatti, Neeravi Post, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. He was issued joint patta in the said property. Subsequently, the petitioner has applied separate patta for the 1st respondent and the same had been issued in Patta No.1475, in pursuance of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.16799 of 2014 dated 15.10.2014.
3. Thereafter the petitioner has been requesting the 1st respondent to survey the land and demarcate the boundaries for the property, but no action had been taken. According to the petitioner, he had paid requisite fee for the survey of the land on 22.06.2016. But till date, no action was taken by the 1st respondent. Therefore, he is before this Court seeking the issuance of writ of mandamus.
4. Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and has no objection for the direction to be issued in this writ petition.
5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels and in view of the fact that the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, the first respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the subject land belonging to the petitioner after issuing notice to any interested parties within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs.
