JUDGMENT / ORDER

The Writ Petition had been dismissed for default by order dated 02.08.2011 for not having represented the batta. The application bearing M.P.(MD)No.1 of 2014 to condone the delay of 928 days in filing the restoration application was filed, which was ordered by this Court by order dated 30.04.2014 on payment of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only)to the Legal Services Committee, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai. On compliance of the same, M.P.(MD)No.2 of 2014 was ordered restoring the Writ Petition to file by order dated 02.07.2014.
2.When the main Writ Petition came up for hearing on 05.10.2017, 09.10.2017 and 13.11.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the same was directed to be posted on 20.11.2017, under the caption 'for dismissal'.
3.Even today (20.11.2017), there is no representation for the petitioner. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent is present. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non- prosecution. No costs.
