On 13.3.2012, the hearing of the petition was adjourned at the request of learned advocate for the petitioner and on 23.3.2012, learned advocate for the petitioner did not attend the hearing.
Today also, when the petition is called out, learned advocate for the petitioner is not present.
Only because the subject matter of the petition relates to the petitioner's claim for compassionate appointment, the order dismissing the petition for non-prosecution is not passed. However, it is clarified that if on the next date of hearing, learned advocate for the petitioner would not remain present, then, the petition will be dismissed for non-prosecution.
