The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the order dated 15.12.2020 passed in Writ Petition No.22852 of 2020 (Priyanshu Mishra Vs. State of U.P. and others).
Today when the matter was taken up, an affidavit of compliance has been filed by Shri K.R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the opposite party. It is stated in paragraph-5 of the affidavit of compliance that the order passed by the writ court has already been complied with, therefore, no further orders are required to be passed. After perusal of the aforesaid compliance affidavit, the same is return to the counsel for the opposite party to file the same in the registry by e-filing within three days.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.
After the aforesaid order was passed a prayer has been made by the counsel for the applicant to gran some time to file a reply to the aforesaid affidavit.
Prayer is rejected.
