The petitioner's claim for the benefit under the scheme 'Mukhya Mantri Kisan Evam Sarvhit Beema Yojana' was rejected by the Insurance Company and the representation of the petitioner before the District Level Committee is pending.
The prayer in this petition is to command the second- respondent to take a decision on the pending representation of the petitioner.
Without expressing any opinion on the merit of the claim of the petitioner, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition by requiring the second-respondent to refer the claim of the petitioner to the District Level Committee so as to address and decide the claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing a copy of this order. It is expected that decision on the claim of the petitioner shall be taken, after giving opportunity of hearing to the Insurance Company concerned.
