This writ petition was entertained and the counsel for the petitioner was permitted time to examine the matter.
Today when the matter is taken up, Sri Kartikey Saran appearing for the Commission points out that vacancy was available both in the Men Branch and Women Branch separately, and by the notice under challenge the Commission had only permitted the applicants to correct their category.
Faced with such objection, learned counsel for the petitioner comes up with the prayer to withdraw the writ petition.
Dismissed, accordingly.
