Heard Sri Dinesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Notice for opposite party no.1 has been accepted by the office of learned CSC and notice for opposite party no.2 has been accepted by Sri Rahul Shukla.
By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed that opposite party no.2 may be directed to sanction the maternity leave to the petitioner along with all maternity leave benefits.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn attention of this Court towards Annexure No.1 to the writ petition, which is a representation dated 22.8.2019 addressed to the District Basic Education Officer, Barabanki for getting the maternity leave for six months. As per learned counsel for the petitioner, no decision has been taken on the aforesaid representation.
Therefore, without entering into merits of the issue, the District Basic Education Officer, Barabanki is directed to consider application of the petitioner dated 22.8.2019 for granting maternity leave and pass appropriate orders, with expedition, preferably within a period of one week from the date of production of certified copy of the order of this Court and decision thereof be intimated to the petitioner forthwith.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
