ORDER:
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the first respondent in not taking action against respondents 5 to 8 pursuant to the complaints lodged by the petitioners on 3.12.2004, 12-3-2005, 13.3.2005, 30.12.2005, 31.1.2006 and 25.3.2006 as arbitrary and illegal.
A counter affidavit is filed way back in 2006 stating that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioners on 16.02.2006, the same was forwarded to the Sub Divisional Police Officer, Gudur, who in turn forwarded the same to the Circle Inspector and from there to the fifth respondent, who registered a case in Cr.No.49 of 2006 on 8.4.2006 and investigation was taken up by the Sub Divisional Police Officer, Gudur. The investigation revealed that the case was false.
In view of the same, it cannot be said that the respondents have not taken any action on the complaint lodged by the petitioners.
The Writ Petition is therefore dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
