ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“…to issue any order or direction writ or writs more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the 5th respondent in seizing the Pattadar pass books, title deeds and ledgers of the members of the Petitioner society on the directions of the Respondents 1st and 3rd is illegal, arbitrary, mala fide and violation of the Principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct respondent No.5 to return the Pattadar pass books, title deeds and ledgers of the Members of the Petitioner society forthwith so as to avail the loan waiver announced by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.”
The case was adjourned on the previous three occasions at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Today, when the case is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, it is reasonable to presume that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing its cause in the writ petition.
Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.37002 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
