This contempt case is filed alleging that the respondents did not implement the directions issued by this Court in its judgment in Second Appeal No. 345 of 2005.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Advocate General for the respondents.
The controversy was about the entitlement of the petitioner to be considered for membership in the Secunderabad Club, the respondent herein. The application was considered by treating that the petitioner is not eligible to apply. Though there was some delay on their part, the respondents have now placed before this Court a communication dated 11-07-2014 through which the petitioner was required to attend the meeting scheduled to take place on 04-08-2014. In other words, the respondents processed the application and it is at the stage of consideration.
The contempt case is, therefore, closed. The miscellaneous petitions filed in this contempt case shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
