Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Vijay Kumar Dixit for the respondent Food Corporation of India.
Petitioner apparently has by-passed statutory alternative remedy available to him under Regulation-68 of the Departmental Regulations notified on 30.4.1971.
Since the remedy available has not been exhausted, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition.
However, it is provided that in case petitioner files an appeal within 4 weeks under the aforesaid Regulation, the same shall be dealt with, in accordance with law on merits, expeditiously.
Subject to the observations made above, this writ petition is consigned to records.
