This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief;
(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing/commanding the respondent No. 3 to pay the pending bills of Rs. 717260/- from year 2010-11 to year 2016-17 as possible as early within a stipulated period.
By order dated 16.7.2018, learned Standing Counsel was directed to seek instructions in the matter. Today learned Standing has produced, inter alia, certain documents according to which total outstanding amount which State owes to pay to the petitioner is Rs. 37500 X 3 =1,12,500/-. On the contrary, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the outstanding amount against the respondents is Rs. 7,17,260/-, as such, the amount due is under dispute.
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. The matter requires consideration.
The learned Standing Counsel may file his counter affidavit in the matter within four weeks. The petitioner will have three weeks' time thereafter for filing rejoinder affidavit in the matter.
List thereafter.
It is provided that the entire admitted amount shall be paid to the petitioner positively within a period of three weeks from today.
