Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
After suspending the arm licence of the petitioner a show cause notice has been given for initiating a proceeding for cancellation. The petitioenr submits that he has already submitted a reply to the show cause notice on10.11.2008 but up till date, no decision has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition.
In the facts and circumstances of the present case, this writ petition is disposed of finally directing the District Magistrate, respodnent no.1 to decide the proceedings against the petitioner on the basis of the reply submitted, by a speaking and reasoned order according to law within a period of three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of the order.
No order is passed as to costs.
