At the very out set, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is not pressing the relief no.1 which seeks a certiorari for quashing a notice dated 26.07.2018 issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Meja.
He is, therefore, permitted to delete the relief no.1 in the writ petition and re-number the remaining reliefs as 1, 2, 3 and 4 consecutively.
The surviving relief no.1 is for a direction to the Commissioner Allahabad Division, Allahabad for the expeditious disposal of an appeal filed by the petitioner being, appeal no. 04 of 2014.
The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to decide the appeal no.04 of 2014 as expeditiously, as possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties thereto.
