JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.12 of 2016 and file final report within a specified time frame.
2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that no summons has been served on the accused and that the respondent police has neither investigated the case not filed the final report till now.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
