Heard Sri Bajrang Bahadue Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
The petitioners are the legal heirs of late Rajendra Prasad Singh, who had a permit and licence of stage carriage. Unfortunately, Rajendra Prasad Singh died on 3.6.2015. The petitioners applied for transfer of the vehicle in their names.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that they are ready to deposit the tax liability that may have accrued on the vehicle and the relevant A.R.T.O be directed to consider their claim.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.2 to consider the claim of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, as far as possible within two months from today from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order before it.
