Application filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.2043 of 2014 of the Fort Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is that on 18.09.2014 the petitioner had approached the de facto complainant who is conducting an institution named 'Beecab' engaged in conducting rent a car business and hired Innova car bearing registration No.KL 16C/9851 for 10 days through an agreement and thereafter, the petitioner has not cared to return the car.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
5. The investigation has revealed that after obtaining the car on hire, the petitioner took the car to Mysoor and pledged the car to a person named Shafeeb for Rs.1,00,000/-

2 by representing that the car belong to the petitioner. After moths, the vehicle has been recovered. The recovery of the vehicle does not mitigate the acts committed by the petitioner.
6. The allegations against the petitioner are very grave and serious. The matter has been further investigated. Investigation is not over. Considering the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner and the present stage of investigation, I am satisfied that the petitioner is not entitled to the discretionary relief of anticipatory bail.
In the result, this bail application is dismissed.
