Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A., for the State.
This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C., has been filed with a prayer to direct the Additional Sessions Judge, Gorakhpur to expedite the trial of the Sessions Trial No. 359 of 2018 (State Vs. Vikash Chandra Gupta and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 587 of 2017 under Section 354, 323, 376-D, 504, 506 IPC, Police Station Gorakhnath, District Gorakhpur within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.
Learned counsel for the applicant contended that the aforesaid case may be directed to be decided within time frame fixed by this Court.
The present matter pertains to the year 2017.
Consequently, this application is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Trial Court to frame charge and record the statement of prosecutrix expeditiously in accordance with law.
