Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to check the copy of 1st paper of English B of Intermediate Examination 2018 in which petitioner appeared on 24.2.2018 and issue corrected marksheet. Further prayer has been made to issue a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents concerned to decide the petitioner's representation dated 15.9.2019 within stipulated time.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that in the marksheet of Intermediate Examination 2018, in first paper of English, she was shown absent and in the second paper she obtained 33 marks. Subsequently, on the petitioner's instance, the copy was rechecked in which the petitioner was allotted 8 marks in first paper while 25 marks in second paper and the marks of second paper was reduced from 33 to 25. For the discrepancy, the petitioner filed a representation dated 15.9.2019 before Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Regional Office, Prayagraj for redressal of her grievance, on which no order has been passed.
Under these circumstances, respondent no.2- Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Regional Office, Prayagraj is directed to decide the petiitoner's representation dated 15.9.2019 appended as annexure-5 at page 27 to the writ petition, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
