Case called out.
None responds for the petitioners to press this writ petition.
By means of instant writ petition the petitioners have prayed for direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to release the amount of compensation with compound interest in favour of the petitioner forthwith.
Learned Standing Counsel has filed counter affidavit in which in paragraph 4 it has been stated that the amount of compensation has been paid to the petitioners and nothing is due on the department, as such the writ petition has rendered infructuous.
Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
