Petitioner is the third accused in Crime No.06 of 2014 of the Excise Circle Office, Punalur for the offence punishable under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act, 1985 for alleged possession of ganja, apprehends arrest and has filed the application.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application. It is submitted that the first accused was arrested with the contraband and his questioning revealed storage of ganja in the house of the petitioner as well. Accordingly, house of the petitioner was searched and ganja was seized.
3. Learned counsel submits that the allegations are not true.
4. In the nature of allegations made against the petitioner and investigation required to be done, request for pre-arrest bail cannot be allowed. If so advised, the petitioner can surrender before the investigating officer. In case the

2 petitioner is arrested, she shall be produced before the jurisdictional magistrate as early as possible.
