1. Heard Shri Pankaj Agarwal, learned counsel for petitioners.
2. He says that petitioners are the nominee of Dr. Kamakshi Shukla who was working as Administrative Officer in the office of Life Insurance Corporation in Varanasi City Branch. Dr. Kamakshi Shukla died on 6th of July, 2018 in Allahabad at Kamla Nehru Hospital as she was suffering from cancer.
3. Dr. Kamakshi Shukla had nominated the petitioners as her nominee in her office record to take all her service benefit after her death and had also executed a registered Will on 18.07.2018 bequeathing her immovable property in favour of petitioners.
4. After the death of Dr. Kamakshi Shukla, the petitioners applied for receiving the retiral benefits but on the pretext of some civil suit being filed by some other unrelated persons, no decision has been taken till date on the application made by the petitioners.
5. The limited prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent Corporation to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the representation of the petitioners dated 30.07.2018 and 31.08.2018.
6. Consequently, without entering into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the Respondent No. 1 to decide the representations of the petitioners said to be pending before it strictly in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced.
