Petitioner is seeking promotion to the post of Deputy Chief Technologist( E-1 Grade) on the ground that he has completed eligibility period of 3 years. Grievance is that for the purposes of promotion, petitioner's category has been changed from A to B2, which is impermissible in terms of the promotion policy and the recruitment notification but his grievance is not being examined. Representations made in that regard have remain pending and hence this petition.
Considering the nature of order proposed to be passed, notices need not be issued to respondent nos.2 to 5 and writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself after hearing Sri K.S. Chauhan on behalf of respondent no.1.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, it would be appropriate to permit the petitioner to represent his grievance before the respondent no. 2 , annexing therewith all materials in support of his claim alongwith copy of this order within a period of four weeks from today. The concerned authority shall examine the petitioner's grievance in light of the applicable rules/ policy and shall pass necessary orders, in accordance with law, within a further period of four months, thereafter.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
