This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, interalia, for the following relief:
"A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent No. 1 to 4 to provide protection to the life and property of petitioner and respondent No. 5, who are husband and wife."
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
The petitioner is husband of Respondent No. 6. It appears that due to some difference, the husband and wife started living separately. The petitioner filed a petition under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act for restitution of conjugal rights which appears to be pending before the Family Court. Now, the petitioner, by means of this petition, is seeking security for his wife Respondent No. 5 without her consent.
The apprehension of the petitioner appears to be groundless. Since the Respondent No. 5, who is an adult, has not come up before this Court for redressal of her grievances regarding security etc., we do not see any justification to interfere in the matter.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
