Sri Anoop Trivedi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that inadvertently Commissioner/ Regional Level Committee has not been made a party in the writ petition and he may be permitted to implead Commissioner/ Regional Level Committee as respondent No.7. He is permitted to do so.
This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated February, 2018 passed by Dy. Superintendent of Police, Ghaziabad by which it has directed that the petitioner will bear 75% of the expenditure of the security provided to him. It is submitted that the petitioner is a witness of murder case and, therefore, security was provided to him. Now, unilaterally, Dy.S.P. has passed an order for payment of 75% of the expenditure for continuing such security.
Learned Standing Counsel upon instruction submits that the petitioner's application against the payment of 75% of expenditure is pending before the Regional Level Committed constituted in this behalf for looking into the security perception of the individual.
The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that Regional Level Committee will look into the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.
