1. Heard Sri S.K. Singh Vashisht learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for the State and Sri Anand Mishra, Advocate holding brief of Sri Arun Kumar, learned counsel for respondent No. 2.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that petitioner had earlier worked on the post of Assistant Teacher from 30.12.2005 to 16.05.2007 in the Primary School Khauria, Block Koraon, Allahabad and subsequently, he was appointed in the Anglo Bengali Inter College, Allahabad.
3. The petitioner submits that his earlier services in the erstwhile institution are liable to be continued towards service benefits for which purpose a letter was written by the Principal, Anglo Bengali Inter College, Prayagraj to the District Basic Education Officer, Prayagraj requiring a certified copy of his service book so that the needful could be done and the previous services of the petitioner could be added towards his teaching experience.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite passage of nearly four months, respondent No. 2 has neither responded to the request nor sent service book of the petitioner.
5. In light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to respond to the letter dated 02.07.2021 written by Principal, Anglo Bengali Inter College, Prayagraj and furnish documents as required expeditiously, say, within a period of two weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him and in case there is any legal impediment in furnishing the said documents, he shall respond to the said letter giving due reasons for the same within the aforesaid time.
