The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgement and order dated 29.1.2021 passed in Crl. Misc. Writ Petition No.845 of 2021 ( Prashali Gupta Vs. State of U.P. and 7 others).
Today when the matter was taken up, instructions received from the office of opposite party was placed by Sri K. R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel on behalf of opposite party, same is taken on record. Copy of the same was also provided to the counsel for the applicant. It is stated in the aforesaid instructions that investigation has already been concluded in the matter on 23.09.2021 as directed by the writ Court.
In this view of the matter, Court is of the opinion that the order passed by the writ court has been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.
