JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner purchased the property by Ext.P2 sale deed. Petitioner approached the Tahsildar for effecting mutation. By Ext.P4 proceedings, Tahsildar noted that boundaries of the petitioner's property are not clear. Therefore petitioner has been directed to approach the Village Officer after ascertaining the boundaries.
In view of the above, I am of the view petitioner shall approach the Village Officer, Hosdurg with an application either in form 8 or form 10 of the Survey and Boundaries Act. That shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Based on that, boundaries of the petitioner's property shall be determined. After determining the boundaries, mutation shall be effected within a further period of three weeks.
The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
