The only prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is ready to deposit the O.T.S. amount dated 13.03.2018 in the installments. It is submitted that the petitioner is a teacher and he and his wife are ill and their treatment are going on and also their bank account has been seized in the present recovery proceedings.
We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Sanjai Sigh, learned counsel for the respondent no. 3 and learned Standing counsel for the respondent nos. 1 & 2.
In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that ends of justice requires that the petitioner be permitted to deposit 1,50,000/- within two months and the remaining amount shall be deposited in two equal installments on quarterly basis.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
It is made clear that this order has been passed in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case. It shall not be treated as a precedent.
