JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard Sri Ramendra Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Anurag Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the State Election Commission and Sri Raj Bux Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel through video conferencing.
On an objection being raised by learned counsel for the State Election Commission that the petitioner has an alternative, efficacious and statutory remedy of filing election petition under Section 12-C of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act 1947, learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the same.
The writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of alternative and statutory remedy..
