Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
It is submitted that the petitioner has filed the present petition claiming that despite finding place in the merit list after the second cut off, the petitioner could not report for verification of the documents as the petitioner was resident at that time at a remote place and he could not be communicated with regard to the lowering of the merit list and he was not aware that his name appeared in the select list after the second cut off.
It is also clearly stated that by the time the petitioner approached with the requisite documents, the time for selection was over and as such his papers were not accepted. In this regard the petitioner has made a representation dated 24.9.2018 to the respondent No. 2 which has not been decided till date.
The respondent No. 2 is directed to dispose off the representation dated 24.9.2018 sympathetically and expeditiously within a period of 2 weeks of the production of certified copy of this order in accordance with law.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed off.
