Grievance of the petitioners is that though 17 candidates have applied for appointment to the post of Panchayat Assistant cum Computer Operator but the authorities have only entertained 2 applications out of 17. Application form of 15 candidates have been omitted from consideration.
Learned Standing Counsel representing respondent nos.1 to 3 states that in the event selection has not yet been made the concerned authority shall examine petitioners' grievance in accordance with law.
Considering the nature of order proposed to be passed it is not necessary to issue notice to respondent nos.4 and 5.
In the facts of the present case, petitioners are permitted to represent their grievance before respondent no.3, annexing all materials in support of their grievance, together with copy of this order, within two weeks from today. The respondent no.3 shall accord consideration to petitioners' grievance and shall pass necessary orders in accordance with law, within a further period of two months thereafter. In the event selection has already been made the selected person shall also be heard in the matter before passing any order.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
