Challenge has been raised to the order dated 10.09.2020 passed by the respondent no.2/Additional District Magistrate, Administration, Meerut, in Case No. 03974 of 2019 whereby the petitioner's vehicle has been confiscated.
Clearly, the aforesaid order is appealable under Section 72(7) of the U.P. Excise Act, 1910.
In view of the alternative remedy being available to the petitioner, no interference is warranted by this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
