Pramod Kumar vs Smt. Vandana

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|15 March, 2016

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Proceedings, under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act, have been initiated by the applicant in 2014, and a prayer has been made to direct the court concerned to expedite the proceedings.
This Court finds that there is no unusual delay on part of the court concerned in adjudication of the matter, which may justify issuance of any direction by this Court to expedite the proceedings, and consequently, the petition fails, and is consigned to records.
However, it goes without saying that the court concerned shall proceed with the Hindu Marriage Petition No.554 of 2014, (Pramod Kumar v. Smt. Vandana) filed under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 pending in the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Ghaziabad, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, keeping in view the provisions of Section 21B(2) of the Hindu Marriage Act.
