Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Kirtika Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The prayer made in the representation of the petitioner, for which appropriate directions have been sought by means of this writ petition apparently cannot be granted by the Collector, as the Collector has no power to restrain the husband from transferring or alienating his property. Such an injunction can be granted only by a Competent Court.
We are, accordingly, not inclined to issue any such direction for disposal of said representation.
Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
